FREE Talk: Join Teresa Sabankaya for an engaging discussion on the language of flowers and the art of creating Posies. Learn about the history and significance of these beautiful floral arrangements and discover how they can convey warm messages in today’s world. This free talk will be an opportunity to delve into the magical world of flowers and gain insights into the craft of floral poetry. One lucky attendee will win a Posy Bouquet.

Ticketed Posy Making Workshop ($95 per person): Following the free talk, Teresa will offer a hands-on workshop where she will guide you through the process of making your very own Posy. All the materials needed, including gorgeous flowers, herbs, foliage, and sentiment tags are included, along with, of course, Theresa’s expert guidance.  Your stunning Posy, wrapped in ribbons and accompanied by a keepsake sentiment tag. will be a perfect gift for your mom, your aunt or any special flower-loving friend.

Additionally, Teresa will have her book, The Posy Book: Garden-Inspired Bouquets That Tell a Story, and other language of flowers curated items available for sale at the event.

Teresa Sabankaya is a floral designer, floriographist, and author of The Posy Book. She has been providing professional floral design services for elegant lifestyles in the Monterey and San Francisco Bay Area for over thirty years, designing florals for daily enjoyment, weddings, and other milestones. She is most notably known for the creation of her modern-day posies. Her work has been featured in Victoria, Country Gardens, Elle and Sunset Magazines. She has been a participant in many flower shows, including the prestigious Bouquets-to-Art, DeYoung Museum, Golden Gate Park, and Monterey Museum of Art. @teresasabankaya
